Francis, Kaplan, Tubular, Pelton and Turgo All the equipment is produced exclusively in the facility of Forward Hydro and none of the components are outsourced overseas.
Furthermore, FORWARD HYDROPOWER specializes in the installation of hydro power stations not only in run-of-the-river schemes, but also in drinking water distribution systems, irrigation channels and waste water treatment plants.
The company's history reaches back to the early 1956's when its founder, the government hydraulic energy department, designed and constructed our first small kaplan turbine, which was then followed by many more and LED to the establishment of a private manufacturing plant according to government's requirment. That is where the tradition of turbine making began, more than 60 years ago.
Since its modernization in 2001, FORWARD HYDROPOWER has manufactured, delivered and installed more than 2, 000 turbines in nearly 30 different countries around the world, bringing the total installed capacity to more than 850 MW.
The company services include, amongst others: Inspection of the assembly, supervision of turbine installation, commissioning, online technical assistance (24/7), training of power plant personnel, maintenance and world class warranty and post-warranty care.
